Generals center fielder Amin Mahir left his imprint on his team's 9-5 win over the Paris Fleur-de-Lis. Mahir was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for Rome in the contest. The Generals are now 50-57.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Dharr bin Suhayb came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Paris pitcher Bartolo Hasni, he hit a 1-0 slider for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Rome on top, 6-5.

In postgame comments to the Rome Observer, bin Suhayb said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
