The Sao Paulo Toucans topped the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars, 5-2, in Americas Baseball League action at Rio de Janeiro Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Sao Paulo pitcher and Mashhad, Iran, native Jihad bin Ghazi. bin Ghazi, now 8-11, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. At 55-53, Sao Paulo is in 4th place in the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division.
