Pitcher In-kwon Yun was rock solid in helping the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars beat the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 1-0. The winner was Yun. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Jaime Torres. Luis Gutiérrez notched his 27th save in 30 chances.

Dae-hwan Koo, who finished 5th in the ABL in on-base percentage with .408 in 2149, had a direct impact on the outcome. Koo contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Rio de Janeiro up, 1-0.

"We found a way to win tonight," Koo said.

The second-place Jaguars lifted their record to 61-48.
