Thunderbirds Beat Visiting Aztecs, 7-3
The game between El Paso and Mexico City is in the books, despite a little rain.

The 3-RBI night of right fielder Abraha Saqr, who leads the ABL with a .564 slugging percentage, helped the El Paso Thunderbirds triumph, 7-3, over the Mexico City Aztecs. The Thunderbirds, at 53-59, sit in third place in the Americas Baseball League North American Division.

Dennis Inarez had a big 2-run double for the Thunderbirds in the bottom of the first inning. With El Paso trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Jin-u Kim, who finished 5th in the ABL in strikeouts with 187 in 2149, and swatted a double to right. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunderbirds ahead, 2-1.

"Things didn't bounce our way," said Mexico City skipper Square Drive.
