Fitzies Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Karachi
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Tokyo Fitzies and Karachi Falcons.

Karachi second baseman Duecha Jela was sensational. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Tokyo beat the Falcons, 7-5. The win was credited to 32-year old right-handed pitcher Rino Kathirithamby in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Aleksander Eckhard took the loss. Alastair Bacon earned the save, his 13th.

Tokyo went up, 6-5, on Roderyk Komorowski's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Komorowski hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Karachi pitcher Aleksander Eckhard shaking his head.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Komorowski told the Tokyo Herald. "It's as simple as that."

The Fitzies move to 18-20 with the win, while the Falcons drop to 13-25.
