Despite a great performance by Tokyo center fielder Khaldun Kanja, the Paris Fleur-de-Lis defeated the Fitzies by the score of 5-3 at Stade de France. Kanja hit 2 home runs. Terry Humphries, who is tied for 10th in the IBL in triples with 4, was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Paris now sits at 47-66, while Tokyo falls to 62-51.

Hagos Radull had a big 3-run home run for the Fleur-de-Lis in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Paris trailing 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Javier Torres and punished it. The result was his 15th home run of the season, which put the Fleur-de-Lis on top, 3-1.

Radull attributed the triumph to "a good team effort."
