Ojima Belts 5 Hits
Okura Ojima was at the head of a Beijing hit parade at The Bird's Nest. The shortstop went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Emperors to a nice 12-3 victory over the Karachi Falcons.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Ojima told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Falcons skipper Slu Baseball said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Okura Ojima singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Kateb Ouko in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

This year, Ojima has hit at a .289 clip with 92 hits, 13 home runs, 43 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
