Hoskins, Dolphins Too Much for Jaguars
Behind the hitting of Larry Hoskins, the Havana Dolphins defeated the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars, 11-4. Hoskins went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Dolphins. Syed Suhrawardi, who is tied for 7th in the ABL with a 7.6 K/9 rate, was the winner. He's now 8-4. The loser was José Torres. Havana now has a record of 64-50 with the win.

With Havana leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Hoskins hit a changeup from José Torres for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Dolphins ahead, 5-0.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Hoskins told the Havana News.
