Walk-Off Win Makes Rome 53-61
The Rome Generals outlasted the Black Forest Foxes in an extra-inning thriller.

The Rome Generals did just enough to secure a victory over the Black Forest Foxes, 1-0, in 13 innings at The Colosseum. Nobody did more than pitcher Preki Cvetkovic. Rome reliever Elikai Ipo snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Reda Basim shouldered the loss.

The Generals got a clutch hit from second baseman Jean-Michel Martinez. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Generals.

Martinez said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."

Rome sits in 4th place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division at 53-61.
