The Pharaohs grabbed a win, 4-2, at Pharaohs Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Oslo pitcher Eric Lamb. Lamb went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Cairo reliever Héctor Leal was the winner. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Qian-fu Jiang. Tao Guo, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2151 draft, earned the save for Cairo.

Cairo took a 3-2 lead on Shojiro Jouda's 38th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Jouda hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Oslo pitcher Qian-fu Jiang visibly frustrated.

"We've got great fans," said Jouda. "I hope they got what they came for."

The Pharaohs saw their win-loss record go to 57-57. At the same time, the Voyageurs fell to 65-49.
