With Late Score, Toucans Beat Aztecs
The Sao Paulo Toucans picked up a win at Toucans Ballpark, knocking off the Mexico City Aztecs, 2-1, in 10 innings. On the mound for Sao Paulo was right-hander Øivind Ulland. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. With the win, Sao Paulo raised its record to 60-56.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jeremy King in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Joseph Muller to win the game for Sao Paulo. The home crowd went nuts.

During his postgame press conference, Toucans manager Casey Blake DeWitt told reporters that he expected a tight game from the get-go. "This had the potential to go down to the wire, and it certainly didn't disappoint," he said, later quipping, "it might've been a little less nerve-racking if I had been watching the game from my couch!"
