Fermín Alonso impressed in the 6-4 Tokyo win over Beijing. Alonso was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Tokyo starter Gustave Le Floch was credited with the win after throwing 94 pitches over 8.2 innings. His record now stands at 10-8. Bruce Catron earned his 1st save in 1 chances.

Early in the game, Alonso had a 2-run home run for Tokyo. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Fitzies on top, 2-0.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Beijing manager Kev In.

With the win over Beijing, the Fitzies improved to 65-53.
