Fleur-de-Lis Stymied by Generals, Tseng
|
Pitcher Shih-k'ai Tseng was sensational for the Rome Generals in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Paris Fleur-de-Lis. Tseng earned the win. At 22-17, the Generals claim second place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division.
Tseng, the winner, is now 4-4, after putting the clamps on the Paris offense. In 7.2 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while collecting 6 Ks.
"Shih-k'ai was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Rome manager Tx Horns.
