Loss to Pharaohs Extends Black Forest Losing Streak
|
Getting offensive support from Abdul-Tawwab Talib, the Cairo Pharaohs topped the Black Forest Foxes, 2-1. Talib was 2-4 with a double for the Pharaohs. Pang Chang earned his 5th save, after closing out the game. The win puts Cairo at 15-24.
Talib had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-2 curveball from Scott Merritt, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Pharaohs a 1-0 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Talib.
Talib called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
