The exploits of right fielder Lich Huynh, who is a five-time Defender of the Year Award winner, helped the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars defeat the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 8-0. Huynh went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Apasanka Shally recorded the save, making him 6 for 7. The win for the Jaguars lifted their record to 65-55.

Leo Brooks had a big 2-run double for the Jaguars in the bottom of the third inning. With Rio de Janeiro leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Talal Yunus, who finished 5th in the ABL in wins with 15 in 2151, and swatted a double to left. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jaguars ahead, 4-0.

"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Huynh.
