Øivind Ulland pitched a dandy of a game to help the Sao Paulo Toucans beat the Puerto Rico Coqui, 10-1. Ulland, the winner, moves to 7-7. He threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. With the win, Sao Paulo upped its record to 63-58.

Sao Paulo used the hitting of Max Scroggs to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Toucans on top, 3-0. For the game, Scroggs had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
