Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Havana Dolphins and Puerto Rico Coqui.

Havana turned a good effort from starter Syed Suhrawardi into a win over the Puerto Rico Coqui at El Estadio Latinoamericano. The Dolphins won the game, 3-2. The Americas Baseball League Latin American Division-leading Dolphins are 71-53.

Raúl Carranza had a big run-scoring double for the Dolphins in the bottom of the third inning. With Havana leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Manuel Rivera, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in innings pitched with 179.0, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dolphins ahead, 3-1.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Puerto Rico manager Kir By.
