Beijing first basemanYi-lin Han , who finished 3rd in the IBL in slugging percentage with .550 in 2152, led the hit parade. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Tse-peng Huang got credit for the win, improving to 12-6. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. With Beijing leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Han hit a fastball from Jorge Rosales for a 3-run home run. It was his 28th home run of the season and put the Emperors ahead, 4-0.
