Extra-Inning Win by Jaguars Over Toucans
The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars racked up a win at Toucans Ballpark, bumping off the Sao Paulo Toucans, 6-2, in 10 innings. Jhong-shun Lee, who started for Rio de Janeiro, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, Rio de Janeiro raised its record to 69-58.

Rio de Janeiro used the timely hitting of Ray Johnson to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Jaguars on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I still think this team can play even better," Johnson told the Rio de Janeiro Times.
