The Sao Paulo Toucans beat the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars, 7-4, at Toucans Ballpark. The Toucans got a fine performance from shortstop Yusuf Hasni, who went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Takuji Mochizuki notched his 11th save of the season. Sao Paulo is now 67-61.

Yasukazu Mizutani, who finished 3rd in the ABL in doubles with 42 in 2144, helped out the Sao Paulo cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 3 walks.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Hasni told the Sao Paulo Gazette.
