The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars defeated the Sao Paulo Toucans, 5-4, at Toucans Ballpark. Leading the charge for Rio de Janeiro was center fielder Naruhiko Goto. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. In-kwon Yun earned the win to go to 13-5. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. Luis Gutiérrez was credited with the save for Rio de Janeiro, his 32nd of the season.
