Fitzies Walk It Off for 69th Win of Season
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Tokyo Fitzies did just enough to sneak past the Karachi Falcons, 5-4, at Fitzies Stadium. Tokyo pitcher Cosmo Laureano, in particular, had a standout performance. Tokyo reliever Vladislav Unkovic picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Phillipp Wolfensberger was saddled with the loss.

Fermín Alonso was the walk-off hero for Tokyo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fitzies left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Said Tokyo manager : "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."

The second-place Fitzies now have a win-loss record of 69-61.
