Getting an impressive start from Mathias Lefort, Tokyo beat Karachi by the score of 4-2. Their 70-61 record puts the Fitzies second in the Intercontinental Baseball League Asian Division.

Right Fielder Arun Virinchi made an impact for Tokyo, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Kaleab Bourrouag in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Virinchi was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Lefort.
