Cvetkovic Now 7-13 After Beating Fleur-de-Lis
|
The Rome Generals eked out a 3-2 win versus the Paris Fleur-de-Lis at The Colosseum. Nobody did more than pitcher Preki Cvetkovic. He was terrific. Roberto Lugo recorded the save for Rome, his 31st of the season. The 4th-place Generals lifted their record to 60-72.
Preki Cvetkovic was masterful. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"I thought Preki threw the ball well across the board," said Rome manager Tx Horns.
