Man-u Yo was superb against Daegu. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the IBL in quality starts with 15, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Emperors victory. The score was 2-1. The first-place Emperors go to 84-48.

Eng-hee He drove in one run for Beijing. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Dustin Sanders. It was his 20th RBI of the season.
