Black Forest first baseman Kieran Morrison had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Daegu Monks, 7-4. Wilson Rodríguez earned the save, his 35th, for the Foxes. Daegu now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
Labeeb bin Hussein came through with a big-time hit for Black Forest. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I warned the team before the game," losing manager R Beadle told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
