Saleh bin Khoury was instrumental in his team's 8-6, extra-inning triumph over the Daegu Monks. The right fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Black Forest Foxes. Bob Aguilar picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-4. Dodek Wolotka, who finished 5th in the ABL in ERA with 3.12 in 2145, was tagged with the loss. The slumping Monks have dropped 6 in a row.

Black Forest used the timely hitting of Jesús Zaragoza to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Foxes on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said R Beadle, the Daegu manager.
