The Oslo Voyageurs picked up a win at The Bird's Nest, courtesy of Mujtaba Mahmud Khel. The left-hander helped his team stop the Beijing Emperors, 3-2. Mahmud Khel, now 13-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The win boosted Oslo to 83-56.

Oslo took a 3-2 lead on Rúbem Lencastre's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Lencastre hit in the top of the eighth, left Beijing pitcher Kumar Lata visibly frustrated.

"That's how you're going to be successful," said Voyageurs manager Marq Ualler. "It starts with pitching and it will always be pitching."
