Though he had a stellar game, Ilhazul Seco could not prevent his team, the Paris Fleur-de-Lis, from losing, 6-4, to the Black Forest Foxes. Seco was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Pablo Miranda picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Terry Humphries, who is tied for 10th in the IBL with a .303 batting average, took the loss. Wilson Rodríguez finished to wrap up his 36th save.

Daw Gacharia threw 4.1 innings allowing 3 runs for Black Forest. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Terry Humphries. It was his 5th hit of the season.

"It feels good to get this one," Gacharia told the Black Forest Daily News.

With the win, Black Forest pushed its record to 73-70.
