The home crowd had a good time watching the Sao Paulo Toucans and Rio de Janeiro Jaguars get after it.

Javier Villegas, who leads the ABL with a 9.6 K/9 rate, was locked in. The left-hander led the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars to a 4-0 win against the Sao Paulo Toucans at Rio de Janeiro Grounds. After today's action, Rio de Janeiro sits at 82-63; Sao Paulo slips to 74-71.

With Rio de Janeiro leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Villegas hit a 2-run single off Sao Paulo hurler António Moreno. It was the 8th hit of the season for Villegas and put his team ahead, 4-0.

"Javier was in tempo tonight," said Rio de Janeiro skipper Echo 127.
