Falcons 5-2 Winners Versus Oslo
|
Karachi Falcons starter Miguel Salazar found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Oslo Voyageurs. Phillipp Wolfensberger was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 8 save opportunities. After today's action, Karachi sits at 69-76, while Oslo falls to 86-59.
Karachi used a well-timed hit by Kalule Jaja to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Falcons ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Jaja.
