Ulland Leads Sao Paulo Past Havana
The skies opened up and the rain fell at El Estadio Latinoamericano.

In a low-scoring game between the Sao Paulo Toucans and the Havana Dolphins, pitcher Øivind Ulland was masterful on the mound. The Sao Paulo right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Anthony Dalton closed it out for Sao Paulo, earning his 8th save.

Ulland earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Sao Paulo. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 8. Havana hitters had little success against him.

"Øivind's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Sao Paulo manager Casey Blake DeWitt.

Sao Paulo now has a record of 76-72 with the win.
