Manahov goes 4-for-5 to Power Generals Offense
Behind the hitting of Maks Manahov, the Rome Generals stopped the Daegu Monks, 7-4. Manahov went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Generals. Rome is now 69-79, Daegu 56-92.

Walter Cole had a big 2-run home run for the Generals in the bottom of the first inning. With Rome leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from Raúl Arce, who is tied for 9th in the IBL in innings pitched with 192.2, and punished it. The result was his 12th home run of the season, which put the Generals on top, 3-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Manahov.
