Givens, Voyageurs Too Much for Foxes
The Oslo Voyageurs and Black Forest Foxes obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

No one was more impactful than Cal Givens in the 7-6 Oslo win over Black Forest. Givens, who led the IBL in slugging percentage with .657 last year, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Alois Camber was the winner. He's now 17-4. The loser was 33-year old right-handed pitcher José Barajas.

Early in the game, Givens had a 2-run home run for Oslo. It was his 38th home run of the season and put the Voyageurs on top, 2-0.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Black Forest manager DP Woodford.

Black Forest has now lost 4 straight.
