Foxes 3-0 Victors Over Rome

Conditions were not ideal but Black Forest and Rome were able to put their game in the books.
In a low-scoring contest between the Black Forest Foxes and the Rome Generals, Dae-il Kim, who finished 3rd in the ABL in wins with 17 last year, proved to be the difference. The Black Forest left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Foxes win. Kim got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. Wilson Rodríguez closed the game out for Black Forest, earning his 9th save.
The Foxes had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 3-0, Black Forest, with one out. Rome, with runners on 1st and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Walter Cole dug in at the plate, but on a 0-1 fastball, he hit into a double play.
The Foxes raised their record to 18-24.
