Havana first baseman Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris had a good game, even if his team did not. The Dolphins dropped a 6-5 decision to Sao Paulo at El Estadio Latinoamericano. bin Idris was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Marco Delpino notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-1.

Yusuf Hasni was 2 for 5 with 2 singles for Sao Paulo. The 25-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Syed Suhrawardi. It was his 160th hit of the season.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Hasni said.
