|
The Chicago Beefs dealt the Los Angeles Stars a 5-4 loss at Field of the Stars. Gunnar Korner was the star on offense. He was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Scott Merritt, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. Chicago raised its record to 84-67 with the win.
