Fitzies Pick Up 4-1 Win Against Paris
|
Abdur Razzaq Marwat, who is tied for 8th in the IBL in complete games with 2, pitched well, but the Paris Fleur-de-Lis still fell short, losing, 4-1, to the Tokyo Fitzies at Fitzies Stadium. The Fitzies improved to 76-75.
Tokyo center fielder Khaldun Kanja contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 150th hit of the season and put the Fitzies ahead, 2-1.
"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Paris manager Jus L. Hart.
