Meteors Walk It Off for 80th Win of Season
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

Melbourne used a superb performance from starting pitcher Christian Lee to down the Daegu Monks, 1-0, in 11 innings. The win belonged to Dositej Anastasijevic in relief. His record improves to 6-4. Dodek Wolotka took the loss for Daegu.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Melbourne. That's when Artie Riley hit a run-scoring double off 35-year old right-handed pitcher Dodek Wolotka to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said Daegu manager R Beadle.

Melbourne, at 80-71, occupies second place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Asian Division.
