Cairo Sends Oslo Packing with 7-4 Loss
The Cairo Pharaohs weathered a fine game by Oslo second baseman Cal Givens to upend the Voyageurs, 7-4, at Pharaohs Ballpark. Givens went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Bretislav Jaros came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Oslo's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Wattas Mwenda went 1 for 4 for Cairo. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Timofei Wajoroff. It was his 160th hit of the season.
