Paris beat Rome at Stade de France, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Pepe Reyes. He was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and a walk. Paris reliever Massin Ajayi picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Lúcio Caso was tagged with the loss. Paris's record now stands at 18-25, placing them third in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Paris first baseman Pengel Loewe, facing Lúcio Caso, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Fleur-de-Lis the 6-5 win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Reyes said.
