Puerto Rico Makes It 6 Straight with 4-3 Win
Sao Paulo got a terrific performance from pitcher Joe McCandles, but it wasn't enough to beat the Puerto Rico Coqui. Puerto Rico won the Ballpark of San Juan contest, 4-3. McCandles threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Sao Paulo's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Had Kamasrama Shourov not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Shourov hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Coqui.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Shourov.
