In a tight tilt between the Puerto Rico Coqui and the Havana Dolphins, Manuel Rivera was the deciding factor. The Puerto Rico left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The winner was Amadeu Feyst in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Kwan-yew Lei took the loss. Igoryok Faktorovich closed it out for his 16th save.

Puerto Rico used the timely hitting of Li-hong Guang to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Coqui on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Guang said.

This win makes it 7 in a row for Puerto Rico.
