The Oslo Voyageurs picked up a win at OsloDome, dropping the Cairo Pharaohs, 7-4. Matt Gentry, who led the IBL in saves with 43 last year, was the difference-maker. Hayato Tsuchida got the save, the 9th for him this season. The 4th-place Voyageurs lifted their record to 22-25.

Cal Givens, who led the IBL in on-base percentage with .433 in 2152, helped out the Oslo cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Gentry.
