Ramos, Toucans Beat Dolphins, 9-6

Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Sao Paulo Toucans and Havana Dolphins.
Sao Paulo catcher Rubén Ramos had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Havana Dolphins, 9-6. Øivind Ulland went 7 innings for Sao Paulo to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 6 runs. He scattered 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record improves to 3-3. Xing-hua Hua was called on to finish, recording his 8th save.
Roushdy Nkosi had a big 2-run triple for the Toucans in the bottom of the third inning. With Sao Paulo leading 5-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from 41-year old left-handed pitcher Tim Aldridge and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toucans ahead, 7-3.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Casey Blake DeWitt said.
The Toucans now have a mark of 25-23.
