Bullock Stars as Palmchats Top Coqui, 6-4

Ballpark of San Juan was the site of the home opener for the Puerto Rico Coqui. The contest featured a prime matchup between Talal Yunus of the visiting Santo Domingo Palmchats and Awinagh Ezeamaka of the Coqui. The final score was 6-4, the Palmchats getting the win. Rory Bullock turned in the best performance. Talal Yunus was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was fireballing left-hander Giuseppe Re.
The game was at a stalemate until pitcher Talal Yunus came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Puerto Rico pitcher Giuseppe Re, he hit a 2-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Santo Domingo on top, 4-3.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Bullock told the Santo Domingo Chronicle.
