Havana used a superb performance from starting pitcher Jorge Marrero to down the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 6-1. Havana goes to 5-1.

Havana won the game in part because of Eisaku Yoshida. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dolphins ahead, 4-0. For the game, Yoshida had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Marrero.
