The Chicago Beefs tallied a win at Beefs Stadium, throttling the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 2-1. Starting pitcher Yoshitoshi Murata was a big reason for his team's success. Murata got the win, improving to 2-4. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Alfredo Tejada earned the save, his 1st, for the Beefs.
