Stars Capture 4-2 Win at Ballpark of San Juan
The Los Angeles Stars picked up a win at Ballpark of San Juan, dropping the Puerto Rico Coqui, 4-2. Helge Avdakov, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in wins with 5, was the difference-maker. Avdakov picked up the win for Los Angeles, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-3. Clodio Castanhedo wrapped it up, recording his 12th save.

Brenden Mathaathi, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in RBI with 33, had a direct impact on the outcome. Mathaathi contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.
