Loewe Slugs Fleur-de-Lis to 9-5 Win
|
The Paris Fleur-de-Lis used the hitting of first baseman Pengel Loewe to subdue the Rome Generals, 9-5. For the game, Loewe belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win gives the Fleur-de-Lis a record of 2-4.
Early in the game, Loewe had a 2-run home run for Paris. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Fleur-de-Lis on top, 2-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Loewe.
