Starting pitcher Mujtaba Mahmud Khel fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Oslo Voyageurs stymie the Black Forest Foxes, 4-2. Black Forest is 2-4 after the loss.

Oslo took a 3-2 lead on Javier Martínez's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Martínez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Black Forest pitcher Reda Basim visibly frustrated.

Martínez called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
